Clan History
The Uzumaki Clan is a prominent clan that hails from the Land of Whirlpools. Being distant blood relatives of the Senju Clan, it was only natural that they swore fealty to the Senju. Thus, the clan is now located within the Senju Clan Compound. Members of this clan are very knowledgeable in the art of Fūinjutsu (Sealing techniques). Their skills are both respected and feared worldwide because of this prodigious skill. However, it is noted that they are crude in their methods, tactics, and politics. Red hair is a common trait of this clan.

Description: The Dead Demon Consuming Seal is a seal developed by the Uzumaki clan. It invokes the power of a spectral entity known as the Shinigami that can only be seen when it grasps one's soul. Once called upon, the Shinigami hovers behind the user and wraps its left arm with prayer beads, uttering some unintelligible chanting, and after some time a cursed seal appears on its arm. The soul of the summoner is then partially separated from the body and restrained by the Shinigami's hair as it thrusts its arm into the user's chest to grab the soul of its target. At the user's command, the Shinigami then performs the sealing by dragging the target's soul into the user whose stomach is branded with the seal's mark. However, the sealing is double-edged as the user's soul is devoured by the Shinigami along with the target's, both souls trapped for all eternity within the fiend's stomach.

Description: The Eight Trigrams Divination Seal, consisting of two Four Symbols Seals, is used to seal specific amounts of chakra within an area of confinement such as a special scroll or a person. To perform the technique, the user must first summon a ceremonial throne and place the target on it. The Seal takes time to formulate, but will ultimately allow the specific chakra to be sealed away and stored for future access. An example of the use of this seal would be to seal a dying comrade's chakra inside another's body so that the second may utilize the chakra and expand their own reserve. The user is able to create a key formula as well, which they can then keep or pass to whomever they see fit. This can be used to keep the chakra locked away and in safe keeping.

When the seal activates, anything above the inscription is sealed within the formula itself. Any countering or unsealing formula of equal rank or higher can be used to remove this seal.
