Clan History
The Akiyama Clan was founded in the early days of the Land of Earth, before other clans broke off and formed the Land of Wind. They once held great ties with the Yamada Clan and both clans worked in harmony to serve the lords of the Land of Earth prior to the secession. The duo of these two clans was feared on the battlefield far and wide. However, following the secession the Yamada Clan chose to relocate to the Land of Wind and this ultimately caused bad blood between the Yamada and the Akiyama. Generations have passed and the Akiyama consider the Yamada Clan their greatest enemy. To this day, the Akiyama serve under the Ishida Banner as the second-in-command of the Ishida Forces and renowned for their explosive ninjutsu and producing calm, collected Shinobi that possess deep loyalty.

Description:
Bakuton :: Explosion Release is an advanced chakra nature. It is utilized by simultaneously activating both the Fire and Lightning Chakra Natures. This Advanced Chakra Nature gives the wielder the ability to utilize explosive chakra in combat, allowing them to cause explosions in objects they come into contact with. The user must physically touch an object in order to cause the explosions. However, this means that the opponent my use secondary objects of earthen origin such as stones or clumps of mud as carriers of the chakra, thus creating bombs.
Abilities Summary
- Akiyama Clan members posses the Explosion-Element Advanced Chakra Nature for free at any rank.
- They must also posses the required Basic Natures: Fire and Lightning.
- These combined natures take up a total of three (3) chakra nature slots.

Description:
Similar to the Explosive Bullet in the way in which it is utilized, Landmine Field Bullet involves the user sending an enormous amount of concentrated chakra through the ground to a long range and then detonating it. However, the difference is in the results of the technique. The chain explosions caused by this technique reach a maximum radius of 8 meters and can thus envelope large amounts of targets. However, because much of the user's concentration goes into keeping the chakra condensed as it travels and then detonating it, they cannot control the directionality of the blast and thus resulting debris could strike the user or allies. The bullet itself can travel up to a maximum range of 13 meters and once it reaches that range will explode on it's own. However, it can be detonated at any given point before that.

Description:
The user channels a concentrated amount of their Bakuton chakra into the ground beneath them, sending it in a single direction with great speed and then detonating it at a spot of their choosing. This effectively acts as a long range bomb that travels through the ground, though in actuality it is the user's chakra that is traveling as such. The 'bomb' can reach distances of up to 12 meters away before it will no longer be able to be detonated remotely, at which point it will simply detonate once it has reached that radius. However, the user may choose to detonate the bomb at any given point before that 2 meter radius is reached. This jutsu creates a small, condensed blast capable of enveloping roughly two targets.

Description:
This technique utilizes the Bakuton chakra nature. The user performs four handseals and gathers their chakra into one of their feet. Stomping the ground before them, they release the chakra into the ground. Explosions then litter the ground around them, starting at a radius of only 2 meters away. The blasts fan out radially up to a distance of 8 meters. The direction of the blasts are controlled much like the Jiraiken and thus the user negates being impacted by resulting debris.

Description:
After establishing direct contact with their opponent through a simple punch, the user utilizes their Bakuton Chakra Nature to subsequently generate an enormous explosion from the initial point of physical contact. This explosion is powerful enough to completely obliterate an opponent far larger than the user. Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimizes any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil is completely negated.

Description:
The user pours a small amount of their Bakuton chakra into the ground at a location of their choosing and then suppresses it, thus creating a sort of bomb to be remotely detonated. In order to keep suppressing their chakra the user must stay within 7 meters of the 'bombs' at all times, less they detonate on their own. The user can create as many of these as they can handle, with a very skilled user being able to create entire fields in this manner. With a string of three handseals, the user can detonate the bombs at any given moment. However, they will all detonate together, as the jutsu can not remotely detonate only one or part of the set bombs.
