LAND OF WATER MISSIONS
Below you will find a list of generic missions, separated by rank, that can be taken for all Shinobi in the Land of Water. Role Play the mission in the proper section of the Board (Country-Side or Clan Compound), to the best of your ability. Successful completion of missions grants various rewards. It is important to note that you may only take missions that meet or exceed your Shinobi-Rank by one (1) rank, or missions below your rank. You may only take on one (1) mission at a time. Once you have completed a mission, it may be submitted for review in the same manner that a Training Threads are submitted. Thus, follow the designated rules for submitting Training Threads, which can be found in the Training Rules Thread.

S-Rank Missions
Daimyo's Successor Assassination

Mission Title: Daimyo's Successor Assassination
Mission Rank: S-Rank

Mission Details:
Tasked with the assassination of the successor to an opposing country's Daimyo, the Shinobi is sent to foreign lands in order to infiltrate the Estate of the Daimyo and his family, gather information on the Daimyo's successor, and carry out the assassination. All participants are to carry out the assassination with the utmost discretion. It is imperative that participants only target the successor and not the Daimyo himself, as this mission aims to strike a blow while also garnishing the attention of the Daimyo in a display of power, causing fear. The manner in which the participants infiltrate the estate is up to them, so long as they do not attract any unwanted attention that might keep them from getting close to the Daimyo's Successor.
Classified Document Errand

Mission Details:
Tasked with receiving precious information regarding battle tactics, troop numbers, and garrison deployment, the Shinobi must receive an important scroll from a forward Intelligence Operative in foreign lands and return the scroll (seal intact) to the Clan Leader. This mission requires the utmost discretion. The Intelligence Operative cannot leave their post and because of the nature of the information, a carrier pigeon or summon is too likely to be intercepted. This information is vital to the war effort and should be protected at all costs.
A-Rank Missions
Council Member Assassination

Mission Details:
Tasked with the assassination of a member of an opposing country's Daimyo Council, the Shinobi is sent to foreign lands in order to infiltrate the Council Member's private estate and carry out the assassination. All participants are to carry out the assassination with the utmost discretion. The manner in which the participants infiltrate the estate is up to them, so long as they do not attract any unwanted attention that might keep them from getting to the Council Member.
Supply Route Assault

Mission Rank: A-Rank

Required Participants: 1 - 3 Shinobi

Mission Details:
Tasked with assaulting an enemy supply route, the Shinobi is sent into foreign lands in order to destroy at least one (1) significant location consisting of bridges, roads, or checkpoints along the supply route. It is imperative that the participants deal the most damage possible, while not attracting too much attention. Thus, quick and stealthy strikes are key to this operation. It should be noted that the enemy's supply routes are likely to be more heavily guarded close to significant locations.
B-Rank Missions
Adviser Escort

Required Participants: 2 - 4 Shinobi

Mission Details:
Tasked with escorting the Daimyo's Adviser through the country side, the Shinobi is to be an armed guard during the Adviser's travel to a diplomatic meeting of great importance. It is imperative that the Daimyo's Adviser and his envoy be kept safe from any would-be attackers, be they thieves, yakuza, ronin, angry peasants, or rival Shinobi.
Trade-Route Assault

Required Participants: 1 - 3 Shinobi

1500 minimum per participant
Mission Details:
Tasked with assaulting a trade route, the Shinobi is sent into foreign lands in order to assassinate any merchants they can find along an opposing countries trade routes. It is imperative that the participants deal the most damage possible, while not attracting too much attention. Thus, quick and stealthy strikes are key to this operation.
Border Patrol

Required Participants: 1 - 4 Shinobi

1500 minimum per participant
Mission Details:
Tasked with patrolling the border of their homeland, the Shinobi is sent deep within the country side and must look for enemy movement that might signify invasion or siege tactics. Should the participants find such an occurrence they must send word immediately; if they believe they are able to prevent the enemy objective they may make the choice to do so within their group or await reinforcements.
C-Rank Missions
Intelligence Gathering

Required Participants: 1 - 3 Shinobi

Mission Details:
Tasked with gathering intel on enemy troops and movement, the Shinobi is sent beyond the border in order to watch an enemy squad's movement near the border. It is imperative that all participants involved gather information without alerting the enemy to their presence. No aggressive movements are to be made, lest such actions cause an unwanted conflict or spring a trap.
D-Rank Missions
Resource Gathering

Required Participants: 1 - 3 Shinobi
Word Count Requirement:
500 minimum per participant
Mission Details:
Tasked with gathering natural and precious resources to help further the war effort, the Shinobi is sent into the surrounding country side to gather wood, iron, stone, ores, and precious gems. The participants are given a special sealing scroll with which to seal the resources in for easy transport, assuming they have knowledge of the Generic Sealing Technique. This mission is not to be taken lightly, as such resources are valued assets and keep the cogs of the war machine turning.
Errand Running

Required Participants: 1 - 2 Shinobi
Word Count Requirement:
500 minimum per participant
Mission Details:
Tasked with running an important errand for a Jounin Captain, the Shinobi must deliver a message to the other Squad Captains as soon as possible. The participants are given a letter containing the message and must deliver the letter to all five (5) Squad Captains immediately.
