Clan History
The Yamanaka Clan is one of the noble clans the Senju gathered together to form their coalition. Previously, the Yamanaka Clan was in a long standing feud with the Uchiha Clan and thus an alliance with the Senju was only natural. They specialize in mind related techniques. The members of this clan specialize in mind-centered techniques which makes them experts at intelligence gathering and espionage. They have also displayed sensory abilities and their techniques include transferring consciousness, reading minds and communicating telepathically.
Clan Abilities

Description:
The Yamanaka are masters of the mind, specializing in the art of telepathic infiltration and control. This ability first manifests at a young age as whispers in the mind. Once this occurs they begin learning how to glean insight from the mind of someone else and shut out outside distractions, eventually even learning how to project their own consciousness outside of their body and into that of another. Such an ability is heavily taxing on the user however, and leaves their bodies in a catatonic state, thus vulnerable to attack. As such it is an ability best not used in battle, or without the aid of someone to look out for the discarded form.

- Yamanaka Clan members are able to utilize the kekkei genkai-based jutsu listed below, following all restrictions that apply.
- When using some jutsu, the user is unable to move at all.

Description: The user of this technique firstly transfers their mind into a puppet laid somewhere in advance, near the vicinity of an enemy's predicted path, before manipulating it to attack an intended opponent. When the opponent counters and inflicts damage upon the puppet, the cursed seal will take effect, causing the two consciousness (that of the user's inside the puppet and that of the victim who countered) to switch. Consequently, the user will gain full control of the opponent's body, while the victim's mind remains trapped within the immobile puppet. Like the original technique, the user's body is left defenceless while the ability is active and any injury done to the victim's body is also reflected upon their true body, but this can be rectified if the user cancels the technique just before any damage is received.

Description: This technique allows the user to telepathically communicate with other people. The user can also transfer this ability to another person by touching their forehead. The user can communicate with multiple people at once and the targets can also communicate with one another while the technique is in effect.

Description:A ninjutsu where one sends their chakra into the subject's nervous system, thus operating the enemies body at will. The enemies this technique is cast upon are completely under the users' control as their bodies become disconnected from their will. The difference between this, and the Mind Body Switch Technique is, the caster doesn't project their consciousness into the enemies body. Situations of numerical superiority for the adversary are precisely where this technique, which freely manipulates human beings will display its efficiency, by getting the enemies to turn on one another. Control can be exerted even from a distance.

Description: The Mind Body Switch Technique is the signature ability of the Yamanaka clan. With it, a ninja sends his mind into a target's body supplanting the target's mind with their own. The user transfers their consciousness to the target, giving them complete control of the body for a short period of time. Their original body is left defenceless while this jutsu is active, leaving it susceptible to attack until they return. The mind transfer moves in a straight direction and takes some time to return to the user's body if it misses. Because of these reasons, it should only be used on immobilized targets. Similarly, if the opponent's will is strong enough, they can force the user from their body. Lastly, should any physical injury befall the victim's body while the mind-link is active, it would cause the user's body to also receive those same injuries. This can be rectified if user cancels the jutsu before the victim's body receives the damage.
