Clan History
The Hōzuki Clan has gathered together several clans from within the Land of Water, in order to strengthen the borders and unify the chain of islands. The Clan currently stands as one of the more prominent clans within the Land of Water despite their previous civil conflict with the Yuki Clan. The Clan came to power after the conclusion of the conflict and have since been backed by the Land of Water Daimyo. Since this shift in the power, the Hōzuki have rallied the remaining clans together and are seeking to help the Land of Water Daimyo expand the territory of the country by enveloping more islands into the country.

Kekkei Genkai/Hijutsu: Suika no Jutsu :: Hydrification Technique
Description:
By liquefying the whole body at will, this technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Using this, the user can also re-shape their body parts for suitable situations. The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. As this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques. However, the Nidaime is able to utilize the Raiton Chakra nature without hurting himself and as such is regarded as a master of the Hydrification Technique. This technique requires that the user be very well hydrated at all times. As such, many members tend to carry water bottles and saki jugs filled with water, around with them. However, the Shodaime and Nidaime Mizukages seem to be hydrated adequately and as such do not carry such things around with them, however they are very skilled users of the technique.
Abilities Summary
- Hōzuki members are able to utilize the Hijutsu listed below, following all restrictions that apply.
- Hōzuki members most keep their bodies extremely hydrated at all times in order to perform these techniques. They must consume large amounts of water daily.
- Masters of the technique (S-rank Shinobi and above) need only keep themselves hydrated regularly.

Description:
Amassing water in the fingertip with their Suiton Chakra, the user fires a small, concentrated and dense water bullet at the enemy. The hand is formed to imitate a gun when they use this jutsu. The jutsu is so compact it is capable of piercing solid rock and flesh. However, the Clan member can only ever use this technique twice within an hour as condensing the water within his body takes great effort, concentration, and a large amount of chakra to form even a single bullet.

Description:
After using the Hydrification Technique to merge with a water source, the user can form a giant wave that takes the appearance of a demon-like fish. The user can use this form to battle large numbers of opponents by crashing into them like a wave, or can use it to shield allies from attack.

Description:
By putting the Hydrification Technique into practical use, the muscles of the arm are temporarily enlarged and strengthened. Moisture is gathered from the whole body and compressed into the entire arm, like an instant pump-up. However, because it is essential to properly control the moisture balance inside the body, this technique's degree of difficulty is very high. The technique gives the user superhuman strength, capable of breaking through both rock walls and steel doors.
