Clan History

Now a mid-level noble family who's task as vassals is to provide additional protection to the royal family and their allies, the Yamada Clan once had the ear of their ruler, but due to a scandalous event which had taken place at the beginning of the Warring States era their star has fallen considerably, a story which was buried by the family historians in an effort to hide the family's shame.

At the dawn of the war, the royal army was dispatched to massacre a village which served as the primary armory for the lord's chief rival. One of the commanders though, a captain by the name of Shou Yamada, had been frequently visiting this village in secret. This was due to the fact that he was carrying on a clandestine love affair with one of the shinobi adepts living there at the time. When the time came for the attack to commence, he was unable to prevent the massacre without giving away his sympathies and risking execution, but he was able to slip inside the temple where the women and children were hiding under the cover of darkness and retrieve his lady love and her unborn child before they met their untimely demise. From there he used his family's considerable resources to quietly forge a new identity for the girl before taking her into his home. There the two of them lived their lives in constant fear of discovery, passing their secret shame down through the generations until one of their political rivals discovers the secret and destroys the Yamada family once and for all.

In recent years, following the death of the previous chief Miyoga, the eldest daughter of the former lord: Yuuki, has been trying to reestablish her family's former glory in the Land of Wind. Having won the title of leader from her now disgraced younger brother Daisuke (Qin Li Sheng), she and her allies are striving to become the left hand of the Shuchō, and possibly one day usurp her title so that the Yamada Clan will be the leading power in Kaze no Kuni.

Description:
Members of the Yamada Clan are gifted with the power of the Scorch Release, an advanced chakra nature utilized by simultaneously activating both the Fire and Wind Chakra Natures. This nature creates chakra that is capable of heating up a target and evaporating water in mere seconds. This requires either physical touch, or contact with the target by the jutsu. This Advanced Nature usually creates flaring, geometrical shapes that are launched in some manner at the enemy. These jutsu are not fire based and should not be confused with such.

Abilities Summary:
