Clan History
A relative newcomer to the political arena of the ongoing power struggle across the various lands, the Sanjuro Clan has long been a fixture in the Land of Wind. Starting out as a family of glass-smiths, and earning an international reputation as craftsmen capable of creating beautiful pieces of art from the fragile crystalline compound that was their canvas. Over time however they eventually learned how to ply their craft in less artistic ways, eventually breaking into the world of the ninja arts and earning a new reputation as skilled assassins as well. As time passed their power and influence grew, having the honored distinction of raising several Jounin Commanders over the years, and eventually even serving as the elite guard of the Shuchō. This all changed however, during the short but bloody civil war that nearly consumed the shinobi of Kaze no Kuni less then five years ago. During this conflict the head of the Sanjuro family was instrumental in uniting the factions and driving out the invading Earth ninja, proving himself a worthy leader and thus reluctantly taking on the title of Kaze no Shuchō following the final battle. The title has since passed on to his daughter: Fei, the youngest of the current Shuchō as well as being the first woman to ever serve in the roll.

Description:
Born with a natural affinity for aesthetics and glass working, the Sanjuro Clan has developed the ability to psychically manipulate their chosen medium to do just about anything they want. Similar to the Yuki Clan's Ice Release, the Sanjuro are capable of hardening or bending glass into various shapes, and even using it as a medium for passing into the second dimension with just a thought or a simple gesture.
Abilities Summary:
- Sanjuro Clan members gain the Elemental Proficiency Ability for free and it does not fill their initial two slots.
- This means a starting character under this clan would have three elemental specializations, for free.

Description: A jutsu that uses a combination of Fire and Sand to create Kage Bunshin. These clones are almost completely transparent. When they are destroyed, they explode into dozens of shards of razor sharp glass. However, if somebody can see chakra, they can see the chakra around the clones, enabling them to more easily see the clones.

Description: This technique allows the user to transfer some of their chakra into another body via physical contact with an open wound or orifice. Once inside the opponent's body the chakra can crystallize into glass, which can then be manipulated to surround muscles to severely limit movement, or to pierce vital organs such as the heart.

Description: The Demonic Piercing Glass Spears is a terrifying technique that is known only to select few members of the Sanjuro Clan. In an instant, hundreds of glass shards are created, levitating in the air. The shards are approximately four inches long and an inch thick, and they are undulating in design so as to inflict maximum damage on the target. The glass shards are then fired at the target, and cause great damage due to the velocity at which they are propelled. Additionally, the glass shards splinter into hundreds of fragments upon piercing the target, adding to their destructive power.

Description: A lesser form of the Glass Clone technique, this ability allows the user to summon a mirror with the image of the user behind their target. The reflection then reaches out from the mirror and either pins or attacks the target.

Description: This technique allows the user to merge their body with a piece of glass of any size. While within the glass they can see and hear the world around them, but cannot manipulate the glass in anyway. The user can choose to come out of the glass at any time, but if the glass is shattered they are forced out of it instantly.

Description: Similar in nature to the Third Eye technique, this ability allows the user to form a large crystal and launch it into the air. They then form another crystal ball in their hand, which they can use to view the surrounding area more easily via the first ball's perspective.

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable cage of glass. The drawback being, the the user must maintain a constant stream of chakra to the cage in order to maintain its strength. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely of glass, it is stronger than steel. Because of the density of the glass it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Glass clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own glass. It can also be stored in scrolls as traps.

Description: This jutsu forms a layer of glass around the users hands or feet, which can be used to cut and opponent or shatter on impact doing extra damage. With practice this technique can also be used to create glass claws or blades for the user.
